CJUS-P 380 DISPUTE MANAGEMENT (3 CR.)
This course examines the processes through which individuals and groups publicly manage and settle their conflicts. Concentrating on the processes of negotiation, mediation, and adjudication, we ask in what types of social and cultural situations these processes are used and developed to settle disputes and what processes are most effective in settling particular types of disputes.
