Criminal Justice Networking Night
Join us for dinner and networking with criminal justice professionals! Mark your calendars and keep you eyes out for the email from Andy to register!
The IU Department of Criminal Justice will be hosting the Skip Elliott Careers in Criminal Justice Networking Night Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 5:30-7:30pm!
Our goal is to connect undergraduate students to a variety of criminal justice related fields and volunteer agencies. We will be providing dinner from IU Union catering at the beginning of the event, which will afford students an additional opportunity to interact with professionals in a less formalized setting. After dinner, we will have each professional give a brief 2-3 minute presentation/biography, and then we will transition into a version of “speed networking” where each student will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in an interpersonal setting.
Below is a list of agencies that were represented at the event this year:
- Monroe County DCS
- IU Maurer Law School
- Indiana State Police
- Indiana Department of Child Services
- IU Criminal Justice Ph.D. Program
- IU Police Department
- Monroe County Probation
- IU Peace Corps
- Target Security Corporation
- HOPE Mentoring Program
- Bloomington Police Department
- Middle Way House
- Federal Bureau of Investigation
