Graduate Student Career Coaching
The Walter Center for Career Achievement is proud to offer career and professional support to all graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Through one-on-one coaching, graduate students can find support in discovering opportunities and resources, planning for the future, and engaging in active applications through, for example, cv/resume critique, cover letter composition, interview preparation, and job offer negotiation. The Walter Center also supports graduate students by organizing career development workshops for individual departments and programs and leading a Graduate Career Exploration Group, which is formed on a semesterly basis.
Trevor Verrot is the Graduate Career Coach at the Walter Center, dedicated to serving graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students can schedule appointments with him through Handshake, IU's career services platform.
