Welcome to the recap of the 2024/2025 academic year in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice!

While it seems so simple, we are so proud to now be the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. We changed our name, and students will soon be receiving degrees that reflect that name. We have not changed anything we do; rather, the name change better reflects what we are already doing in our classrooms, in our research, and in our collaborations with criminal justice organizations and the broader community. We have been working hard to get our name changed in ALL the places. It’s taken longer than we thought. But we have new stickers! If you are interested in a sticker and future communications from the department, send an email to crimjust@iu.edu and include your name, address, and connection to the department. We will get one in the mail to you!
