Criminology and Criminal Justice

We are proud to announce we have changed our name to the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. We are not changing what we do; rather, the name change better reflects what we are already doing in our classrooms, in our research, and in our collaborations with criminal justice organizations and the broader community. An understanding of criminology requires an understanding of criminal justice and vice versa, and now our department name and the degrees students earn better reflect the department’s purpose and goals.
