Students pursuing a graduate degree in Criminal Justice should use the University Graduate School Academic Bulletin.
Visit the Academic Bulletins website to find all Indiana University Bloomington Bulletins. You must scroll to the bottom of the page for Graduate Bulletins. Use the tab for Programs by Campus to search for Criminal Justice specific information.
Students from other departments or schools who want to minor in Criminal Justice may consult with any tenured faculty member or the Director of Graduate Studies on the selection of a faculty advisor or advisors. Students are required to take CJUS-P501 and CJUS-P502 (Proseminars in Criminal Justice). At least 3 additional credit hours of department courses are required for a total of 9 credit hours needed to fulfill the minor.
Students fulfilling the Ph.D. minor requirement are expected to maintain a 3.0 grade point average.
You must contact the Department of Criminal Justice Graduate Program to learn how to declare a doctoral minor in Criminal Justice. It is the student’s responsibility to assure that all required courses have been completed and recorded.
