Shontrai D. Irving named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Eric Holcomb

Monday, July 11, 2022

Alumnus Shontrai D. Irving (AAADS '97, Criminal Justice '03) was named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Eric Holcomb for his career as an attorney, involvement with the local community and academics, and role as a foster parent.

The Sagamore of the Wabash is one of the highest civilian honors bestowed by the sitting Indiana governor in recognition for service to the state or the governor.

Shontrai Irving joins fellow alumnus John B. Herriman (Criminal Justice '93) who was twice named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Frank O'Bannon and Governor Joseph E. Kernan.
