As the 2025–2026 academic year wraps up, we wanted to share a few highlights from the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
It’s been a productive year, with faculty and graduate students continuing to move research forward, presenting and publishing across a range of topics. Along the way, we’ve had opportunities to recognize that work inside and outside the department. It’s fun to see our work rewarded.
We’ve also spent time building and strengthening connections beyond campus. Partnerships with organizations like the Indiana University Police Department and MSI Security have created new openings for students and faculty to engage in applied work, and we expect those relationships to keep growing.
Looking ahead to the fall, we’ll be welcoming new faculty and introducing several new courses. We’ll keep you posted as things take shape. We are honored to have you as part of our alumni community and appreciate the change to keep you connected to what’s happening here.
